I have been looking for a massage therapist like Chris for years and feel so fortunate to have him in my world. Chris is unique in so many ways. His skill set is wonderfully varied. I can come in with sports related pain and he knows exactly how to help. I can come in with an ergonomic issue from sitting at work and again, he knows exactly what to do, or I can come in having had a difficult week at work or in life— and again, he knows just what to do.
I’ve always loved and appreciated massage, but my experience is that the massage may be glorious and help for the day, maybe a little longer, but somehow Chris puts things back in place. When I leave my body feels like it moves differently. My range of motion is improved. I feel more in harmony.
Chris’ approach is methodical— he is constantly learning and listening to your body and finding ways to support health. He’s not just going through the movements of what should happen at minute 16 in a massage, but truly feeling and listening to his sense of touch in determining how he should approach the healing and how best to make progress. He somehow feels the areas of discord and then instinctively seems to know what to do. His understanding of anatomy is outstanding. There is never an improper placement of hands that hurts or pinches. He seamlessly works his way to all areas of need somehow sensing what areas of your body need his support on that day. I’m simply so grateful for his time, energy, and that I’ve found someone so incredibly skilled and kind.
